Hello one and all,
I have been thinking that a single sit-down with everyone who wants to help throw the party may be in order. Wednesday, August 2 @ 6:30pm is the date. Meet in front of our house for a half hour or so to help plan the event. Bring your kids and have them play at the park or with Max.
Some things to discuss:
Money (always fun)
Food (love to hear from Kent on his plans)
Kids (Margaret and Jules will forward their ideas)
Music (Laurie and I will give updates)
Invitees (what is the policy of inviting friends)
Legal (permits)
Set-up (who is going to do what)
Clean-up (who get’s the fun jobs)
Margaret thinks we should ask folks to bring their own cutlery, plates and cups. Each family could supply their guests. 1) It saves money 2) It is environmentally friendly 3) Less trash to deal with 4) Everyone enjoys eating off their own plates – I added that one ;)
